CHARMING FAMILY HOME, RICHMOND
We were asked to assist in renovating a run-down but charming Victorian terraced cottage in Richmond on behalf of our property developer client.

The brief was to completely reconfigure the internal structure of this family home including adding a side return and loft extension in order to maximise the space. The property was to be refurbished throughout with a view to marketing it for sale at the end of the process.

Due to the extent of the works, the property had to be entirely gutted and a new internal framework built, therefore we had an almost blank canvas to work with. Originally a small 2 bed cottage, we carefully planned the layout to offer as much space as possible for any potential new owner, comprising of three double bedrooms, a good size family bathroom, as well as small master en-suite. The ground floor space was adapted for modern family living with the creation of an open plan seating, dining and kitchen area (including breakfast bar) which leads out to a small patio garden. We were also able to squeeze in a small under-stairs WC and utility cupboard.
